Julie Altemus

Julie Altemus recently joined Rise Realty Group/eXp Realty. Julie was active in Missoula real estate from 1980–1987, when she was offered a position with the U.S. Senate, where she worked for 14 years as a natural resources legislative assistant. Since leaving the Senate in 2003, she has worked on behalf of Montana’s timber industry in various capacities, including the Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation and the wood manufacturers in Montana, Idaho, and Washington. She recently moved on from that work and decided to re-engage with real estate, a profession she loved. She thoroughly enjoys working with people and helping them navigate the buying and/or selling aspects of real estate. Julie is a Missoula native, having attended Hellgate High School and the University of Montana. Her three grown children are second-generation Missoulians. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends and her sweet dog, “Onion”.
